Highlight to Dispatcher

Explanation

Use this activity to draw the attention of a Dispatcher to a specific Work Assignment by adding a Highlight Text. The mobile technician can also update the previously added Highlight Text, if required.

Prerequisites

• The Work Assignment must exist on the mobile device.
• The Work Task must either have no Workflow Configuration applied or a Workflow Configuration with the action Add Highlight to Dispatcher enabled.

System Effects

• The Highlight Text will be saved against the Work Assignment.
• This information will be available to the dispatcher in the Dispatch Console and the PSO Workbench and be displayed as an Exception.
