Quotation for Request

Explanation

This activity is used to create a quotation for a Request in mobile client. Request, Scope and Work Tasks are created according to selected Service. The Request Quotation gets created for this work scope and the quoted price and the price details can be viewed.

Add Scope action on the Request Quotation allows adding any additional Scopes to the Quotation. After reviewing the details, the Request Quotation can be sent for approval using the action Send fro Approval.
Request Quotations that have been Sent for approval  or Cancelled are removed from the mobile device.

Request Quotations tile in the Home screen allows accessing all Request Questions in New status.

Prerequisites

• This activity is available only in Service app when device is online.
• Value of Application Parameter SERVICE_REQUEST_FOR_NEW_WORK has to be TRUE.
• Person Resource must have no Workflow Configuration applied, or Workflow Configuration applied must have action Allow Create/View Request Quotations enabled to create or view Request Quotations.

System Effects

• With New Request Quotation action, a New Request Quotation is created in the system with a New Request, Scope, and Tasks as per the selected Service
• Send for Approval and Cancel actions change the Request Quotation status to Sent for Approval & Cancelled respectively. These quotations are then removed from the mobile device.
