Return from Service Location
Explanation
This functionality is available in Material action of Work Task. Use this activity to handle parts that had been
sent via Direct Material flow for previous Work Tasks but were not consumed and are now stored in a Service
Location. Using this functionality, a user can move the parts to a desired location.
For unreserved parts in Service Location user can perform following actions:
- Create Tansport Task: Transport Task will be created to move parts to a central (non-remote) warehouse. It is
possible to execute the task at the same time
- Move to My Stock: Parts will be moved to user connected remote location
Prerequisites
- Parts must be stored in Service Location (Temporary Warehouse created by the system to handle Direct Material
flow) and not reserved
- Current Work Task must be at the same location as Temporary Warehouse where parts are stored.
- The Person Resource must have no Workflow Configuration applied, or Workflow Configuration applied must have
action Allow Return of Unreserved Parts from Service Location enabled
System Effects
- Parts will be moved either to user connected remote location or to central (non-remote) location
