Select MS Teams Contact Method
Explanation
This activity is used to contact a person using MS Teams
Three contact methods are available:
- Audio Call
- Video Call
- Chat
Prerequisites
To view the MS Teams information on the contact widget,
- MS Teams integration must have been configured to include Client ID from Azure app registration and Enabled
in System Parameters
System Parameters,
- Client ID of your Azure app registration to give access to graph APIs
- Enable/Disable teams functionality has to be ENABLED
- MS Teams integration must have been enabled for each IFS Cloud Mobile app in Application Parameters
- Application Parameter MS_TEAMS_ENABLE has to be TRUE
- Organizational E-Mail must have been set under the communication method for each contact person to be able to
view the MS Teams contact information on the contact widget
To Initiate a MS Teams call or chat,
- User must have MS Teams app installed and logged into the MS Teams (Android and iOS)
- For Windows clients, either a web browser or the MS Teams application can be used to initiate calls or
chats.
System Effects
- MS Teams contact methods are enabled on the contact card.
