Initiate Remote Assistance Call
Explanation
This activity is used to initiate a remote assistance call when maintenance technicians require assistance with
a task or fault from an expert to complete their work.
Prerequisites
- The remote assistance enterprise should be registered and configured in Solution Manager/Remote
Assistance/Configuration and Enterprise Settings.
- The user should be configured as an active remote assistance user in Solution Manager/Remote
Assistance/Users.
System Effects
- The remote assistance feature is enabled for the user logged in to the Line Maintenance Execution web and
mobile applications with the option to make/receive remote assistance calls.
- The call option is enabled from application menu bar in IFS Cloud Web and from the following pages on the
Line Maintenance Execution mobile application:
