Load Aircraft Configuration
Explanation
A system administrator can perform an initial load of aircraft configuration to create new assemblies, systems,
subsystems, configuration slots, positions, part groups and part numbers through a pre-loaded fit for purpose
migration job. An existing assembly's systems, subsystems, configuration slots, positions, part groups and part
numbers can also be updated in this way. Refer to Prepare and Load Aircraft Type Configuration, part of Maintenance
Execution in IFS Cloud Technical Documentation for more information.
Prerequisites
- Aircraft configuration data in a manner acceptable by the data loading tool. Refer to IFS Cloud Technical
Documentation on Prepare and Load Aircraft Type Configuration.
System Effects
- Assemblies, systems, sub systems, configuration slots, positions, part groups and part numbers are created or
updated and can be viewed on the Aircraft Type Details page. Expand the tree navigator
for the aircraft type to view the systems, sub systems, and configuration slots. Click on a configuration slot in
the tree navigator to view part groups and positions. To view alternate parts for a part group, expand the row
for a part group.
