Load Work Package
Explanation
You can upload a semicolon separated value (.csv) file with work package, task and fault details to create or
update work packages, tasks and faults for Line Maintenance Execution. The work package file must be loaded in its
entirety at all times. The work package loader does not expect partial work packages or loading only changes.
On uploading, the file is processed and takes on a processing status as follows:
| Processing status |
Description |
| Uploaded |
The file has been uploaded and is ready for processing. The status is set to this at
the beginning of the file upload via browser step. |
| Processing |
The file is being processed. This status is set to at the beginning of the file parsing
step. |
| Failed |
The file could not be successfully processed due to a data or business rule validation.
The status is set to this at the end of the business rules validation step, if there are data or business
rule validations. |
| Error |
The file could not be successfully processed due to an unexpected processing error. The
status is set to this at any step throughout the file processing when an unexpected error is
encountered. |
| Completed |
The file has been successfully processed. The status is set to this at the end of the
business rules and validations steps, if there are no data or business rule validations. |
Once uploaded, you can view a summary of the execution on the header of the page, as well as details for
each line type, in the tabs for the page.
To remove a task, fault or work types from a work package, or remove parts, tools, skills, and actions from
faults and additionally measurements and steps from tasks, you must delete the row for the line type from the work
package loader file and upload the work package loader file.

well.

removed.
- If the row for a task or fault was removed from the work package, the task and fault is removed from the
work package and any parts, tools, skills, actions, measurements and steps are removed from the task or fault.
The corrective task that was previously created for the fault is removed as well.
- If a file with errors was uploaded:
- If your system administrator set up to notify you when the work package loading fails, the notification
panel will contain a notification. When you click on the notification for the error, you are directed to the
Line Maintenance Work Package Loader page which indicates the cause of failure of
the work package.
