Report Disposition Complete
Explanation
This activity is used to report the disposition of the material review board (MRB) parts as completed. Click
Complete on the Disposition tab to complete the disposition item when
the disposition activity has been performed in the related object.
This activity contains a Security Checkpoint which can be activated by an administrator. With an activated
security checkpoint on a function you will have to authenticate yourself again in order to fulfill the function.
Additionally, whenever a security checkpoint is successfully passed a security checkpoint log is written, creating
an audit trail of what is done.
Prerequisites
- At least one disposition item with identified disposition part(s) exists for the MRB case.
- If the disposition code requires scrapping verification, the quantity dispositioned with this code must have
been scrapped if the MRB case is created against a shop order.
System Effects
- Disposition completed will be set for a disposition item.
- The values for the Completion Date and Action Completed By fields will be automatically
generated by the system.
- The disposition information can not be updated after the disposition item is completed.
- The parts that have been registered as dispostioned will no longer be controlled by the MRB. These parts can
be further processed from their source (inventory part in stock, purchase order receipt, or shop order).
