Add User Access Group

Explanation

This activity is used to connect User Access Groups to Service Organizations. View access will be given to Users/Access Groups connected to the Service Organization and will allow them to view the Requests and Request Tasks created for that particular Service Organization. The originator of the Request has the ability to view the Request they created, even if they are not a member of an access group but unable to see the details of the Request Work Tasks.

At least one Access Group must be defined for the Service Organization to create a Request.

When an Access Group is added to a Service Organization, the connected Logistics and Sales sites are automatically included in the profiles of users associated with those access groups on the Sites per User page.

Additionally, if a user is added to an Access Group linked to a Service Organization, the connected Logistics and Sales sites are also automatically added to that user's profile on the Sites per User page.

If an alternate logistics site is defined at the Service Delivery Unit (SDU) level, access to that site is automatically granted to the user.

If access to the Logistics Site and Sales Site is automatically granted when the Service Organization connects, or if the Service Delivery Unit connects to the Logistics site, then removing a user from the Service Organization Access Group will also revoke their access to the Logistics Site and Sales Site.
