Create a Request Work Task from a Standard Task

Explanation

This activity is used to add new Request Work Tasks to a Request Scope from a list of Standard Tasks. At creation, the Request Work Task will receive the status New. Once the relevant Request Scope is selected, it is possible to either add a Request Work Task manually or from a Standard Task. If the Request Work Task is created from a Standard Task, a Standard Task must be selected from the Standard Task list.

Prerequisites

• Sites, Service Organization and Maintenance Organization must be defined and connected to each other.
• The Request Scope must have the status New, Released, Started or Completed.
• Standard Tasks can be defined on the Standard Task page.

System Effects

• As a result of this activity, Request Work Tasks with the status New will be connected to the Request Scope.
• If the Request has the status New, Released or Started, the status will remain.
• If the Request has the status Completed, it will be changed to Started.
