• The Create New Task activity must have determined that a warranty assessment is necessary.
• The technician must review the task details against the warranty terms.
• A valid Warranty Assessment ID must be selected to document the decision.

System Effects

• The selected Warranty Assessment ID is applied to the task, determining its warranty status.
• If the Warranty Assessment ID indicates that the warranty remains valid, the system maintains the task under warranty scope.
• If the Warranty Assessment ID indicates that the warranty is voided, the system voids the warranty for the entire request scope.
• The updated warranty classification and assessment details are synchronized with the IFS Cloud
