Using this activity, a service technician can download a required object that is not in the device. In this case, as the first step, a technician can search for the required object online using the Online Search. The user can view details of the object before downloading, if necessary. Once the selected object is downloaded, it is available in the Downloaded Objects and All Objects in the mobile client. Objects can also be downloaded via the following functions in the mobile client.
Add Work/New Service Request
Additional Work
Add/Change Object in Work Details
Create New Task Step
Add Request Scope
Create Addtional Work
New Service/Request Quotation
In all the above workflows, when selecting the required object from the LOV, it only shows the locally available objects in the device by default. If the required object is not available in the device, the user can go to the Online LOV where it shows all the objects in the user-allowed sites and find the necessary object. Downloading the object will take place once the object is selected from the Online Object LOV.
When downloaded, some object information is immediately synchronized to the mobile device, whereas the rest of the information is pushed to the device in the OnDemand Push, Eg: Technical Data, Object Spares, etc.
Entities download in the client are EquipmentObject, LocationPartyAddress and EquipmentObjectParty
Entities download in OnDemand Push are EquipmentObjectParam, EquipmentObjectTestPnt, EeuipmentObjectSapre, EquipmentObjectMeas, ObjectMapPosition, TechnicalObjectReference, TechnicalobjectTypeDesig, TechnicalSpecTypeDesig, and TechnicalSpecification
