Issue Material Under Warranty

Explanation

This activity allows the technician to issue the part under the warranty for the warranty-applied task. By default, all parts issued through the warranty task are flagged as covered under warranty. However, the sales price for the part is determined according to the warranty price rule.

Prerequisites

• A warranty-covered work task with a material demand exists in mobile client.
• The technician must confirm that the required material is covered under warranty.

System Effects

• The material is issued and recorded under warranty coverage in the system.
• The associated sales are recorded as per the price rule defined for the warranty.
• Updates are synchronized with the IFS Cloud.
