Enter New Parquet Data Source Details
Explanation
This activity is used as the first step of creating a new Parquet Data Source. Through the
Parquet Data Source page, Click Add New Data Source to launch the
assistant, in order to initiate the data source creation process. The first step of the assistant involves
selecting the data source and specifying the other details such as Area, Load
type, Max age and Destination. Also, the Name
field can be modified if required.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity:
- New Data Source assistant should be launched.
- There should be knowledge of the available and required data sources.
- The Information Source/ View should be deployed at a prior stage (_OL view should be available).
System Effects
As a result of this activity,
- Click Next so that the New Data Source assistant step two
will be loaded to select Columns / define Incremental Load Details.
- Click Cancel so that the New Data Source assistant will be closed,
and the Parquet Data Source page will be displayed.
