Set Work Assignment Status to On Route

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status of a work assignment to On Route in mobile. This status is set when you start traveling to the site where work is performed.

• If automatic time reporting is enabled, an automatic travel time clock in record is created for the work assignment when the status is set to On Route.
• The assignment will be automatically clocked out  when travel is paused or the status is changed to either Waiting at Location or Work Started.
• The time between these two actions will be recorded as a Time Report Record on the Work Task.

Prerequisites

• The work assignment must exist on the mobile device.
• The work assignment must be accepted by the mobile user.

System Effects

• The Work Assignment status is updated to On Route.
• If Automatic Time Reporting is not disabled via a Workflow Configuration, an automatic travel time Clock-In is created for the Work Assignment.
