Reset Value After Repair
Explanation
This activity is used to manually reset the Value After Repair to zero for a serial at the
conclusion of a maintenance visit. If required, the value can be reset for all serials in its structure by enabling
the Reset all serials in the structure option from the Reset Value After Repair dialog.
Note : Entered date in the Reset Date feild will be set as the last measure date for the operational
logging generated when the Value After Repair is reset. For maintenance events in the Finished
status, the finish date of the maintenance event will be set by default, but you may adjust this date. The date
cannot be earlier than the date of the last operational logging for the serial.
Prerequisites
- To reset the value for a serial, the connected maintenance event must be in the Started, Work
Done or Finished status.
- The reset cannot be done for an overhaul or cycle event since completion of this event already resets the
values for value after overhaul and value after repair.
System Effects
- The Value After Repair will be reset to zero for all operational parameters for the serial connected
to the maintenance event. If selected, the value will be reset for all serials in its structure as well.
- A new operational logging will be generated when the Value After Repair is reset.
- A text will be added to the Measure Remark field on the generated operational logging, indicating that
the logging was created because of a reset and not because of an actual logging.
