Modify Multiple Delivery Overhead

Explanation

In below pages it is possible to view and modify multiple delivery overhead cost:

1. Delivery OH for Supplier for Purchase Parts
2. Delivery OH for Purchase Parts
3. Delivery OH for Suppliers

When calculating part cost, the priority will be given according to above order. Delivery OH for Supplier for Purchase Parts will be considered first. Then the system will check if the Add Delivery OH to the Purchase Part option is enabled. If it is selected, the system will consider Delivery OH for Purchase Parts. If it is not selected then the system will return with the overhead cost from Delivery OH for Suppliers.

In the pages it is possible to modify time intervals, delivery overhead rate and overhead unit.

Possible values for the Overhead Unit column are:

• Percentage of Planned Purchase Price
• Percentage of Latest Purchase Price
• Percentage of Average Purchase Price
• Percentage of Cost Set Estimated Material Cost
• Fixed Cost per Unit
• Fixed Cost per Order Size
• Weight

Prerequisites

• A cost element for delivery overhead with cost element source 141 (Purchase Del OH Trigger) must have been created.
• Multiple Delivery Overheads must have been defined in the Multiple Delivery Overhead Setup page

System Effects

The overhead rates for the part, site, cost set and supplier will be saved, and next time when a cost calculation is performed these modified rates will be considered.
