In some cases, a business opportunity originates from more than one lead. For example, duplicate leads may be identified and merged, with only the remaining lead formally converted into an opportunity. To ensure complete visibility, it is important to track all leads that contribute to the creation of the opportunity.
Use this activity to connect leads manually to opportunities using the Connect Lead command placed under the Lead page header section. The command opens a dialog where all leads, except converted ones, are listed. Select the leads you want to connect to the opportunity.
Once the leads are connected, the connected leads appear as lines under the Leads section of the business opportunity References tab.
