Create Work Order, Dispatch Order and Receive Order for CAMRO Shop Visit
Explanation
This activity is used to create a work order for an overhaul object (serial in IFS/Fleet and Asset Management).
The work order will be used to create the work scope for the MRO shop visit of the overhaul object.
A receive order and dispatch order may be created at this time or at a later stage. The receive order is a type
of purchase order used to receive the overhaul object from the customer into the inventory. The dispatch order is a
type of customer order used when shipping the overhaul object back to the customer.
To create the work order, click New Work, Dispatch and Receive Order in the Shop
Visit page.
Prerequisites
- The serial structure of the overhaul object must be in either the In Operation or Out Of
Operation status.
- The person reporting the work order must have been defined.
- The site at which the work is to be done must have been defined.
- The maintenance organization responsible for the shop visit must have been defined.
- The customer must have been defined as an external customer.
- A complex assembly service contract must be defined for the customer.
- A coordinator must be defined if receive and dispatch orders are to be created.
System Effects
- A complex assembly work order is created for the overhaul object.
- If selected, the dispatch order is created for the serial.
- If selected, the receive order is created for the serial.
