Verify Work Scope Events for Shop Visit
Explanation
This activity is used to verify that the required maintenance events are included in the work scope. The
Information in the Define Work Scope/Work Scope Mx Events tab and the Define
Work Scope/Work Scope - Part/Affected Part Mx Events tree page can be used to:
- Verify that required modifications and LLP events are added in the work scope.
- Verify that all affected parts related to these modifications and LLP events are included in the work
scope.
Note: After maintenance levels are defined for the work scope, a report can be
generated to see if all on exposure modifications are included in the work scope. The report can be generated from
the Define Work Scope page by clicking on On Condition Modification or
On Exposure Modification under Reports. Using the information in the report, you
can verify that all affected parts of the modifications are included in the work scope.
- The On Exposure Modifications report shows a list of modifications for which the On Exposure
option is enabled in the customer modification baseline. Enabling this option indicates that the customer wants
the modification to be in compliance when the assigned part is exposed, i.e., disabled or removed from its
parent. This report can only be used prior to the disassembly phase of the overhaul object.
- The On Condition Modifications reports shows a list of modifications for which the On
Exposure, On Repair or On Scrap option is enabled in the customer
modification baseline. This report can only used after disassembly of the overhaul object has started. On repair
modifications are the modifications that are to be complied with when the assigned part is repaired. On scrap
modifications are the modifications that are to be complied with when the assigned part is scrapped.
Prerequisites
- Modification and LLP maintenance events must be included in the work scope.
- To generate the On Condition Modifications or On Exposure Modifications report, maintenance levels must be
set on the work scope.
System Effects
- The included maintenance events (from IFS/Fleet and Asset Management) will be available for work scope
planning.
