Review Schedule

Explanation

This activity is used to review the work task schedule done by the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling solution. The Scheduling engine process data connected to the dataset and returns the planned start and end dates and resource allocations for the Work Tasks and PM actions.

• Work Task schedule done by the scheduling engine and saved back in the IFS business system can be reviewed using the Maintenance Planner lobby, Work Order Planning page, Object Maintenance Planning page and the Event Planning page.
• PM action schedule done by the scheduling engine and saved back in the IFS business system can be reviewed using the Maintenance Planner lobby, Object Maintenance Planning page and the Event Planning page.

It is important to note that, scheduling is a dynamic process that can be set to continuously run and the schedule can continuously change when more optimized plans found by the scheduling engine. In addition, if relevant triggers are active, some of the changes in work task, such as newly created tasks are also sent to the scheduling engine continuously. This can also result in changes to the schedule.

Prerequisites

• Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Dataset has been enabled and sent to IFS Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO) engine and schedule returned by PSO has been saved in the IFS business system.
