Send Full Load

Explanation

Use this activity to force send basic data ( ex: maintenance resources, shifts, materials, additional qualifications etc.) and scheduling data (ex: Work Task resource activities, materials, dependencies, additional qualification etc.) to IFS Planning & Scheduling Optimization engine for full schedule calculation.

Prerequisites

• At least one site should be connected to the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Dataset.
• Dataset should be set to Active by enabling dataset.
• Connected site(s) must be allowed for the user that has been setup to writes back the changes coming from scheduling engine to IFS business system.
• For a Work Task to be considered for scheduling using Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
  • There should be resource demand(s).
  • Earliest start, latest finish and duration must be specified.

System Effects

• Work Task planned start/ planned finish will be modified as per schedule received from the scheduling engine.
• Work Assignments will be created for resources planned on individual level.
• Resource Activities connected to the Work Task demands will get updated.
• For Work Tasks not planned, Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Exceptions will be created.
•  IFS Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO) scheduling information in Work Task/Additional information will be updated.
