Approve Isolation Template

Explanation

Use this activity to approve the isolation template. An isolation template states how a certain part of a facility should be shut down and started up again, so that the specified work can be carried out under safe conditions

Note: You cannot modify the details of an approved isolation template, to do so you will have to create a new revision.

Prerequisites

• In order to approve an isolation template, information on the isolation template must have been entered in IFS/Equipment.
• Any sign-off chain linked to the isolation template must be completed.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the isolation template will be approved. An approved isolation template can be used when a work clearance is created
