Assign Work Task

Explanation

Use this activity to assign Work Tasks of the selected service to the current user while adding a new scope to a Request from mobile. The assignments are created in the back office, and the Tasks/Assignments are transferred to the mobile user. They will be available in the mobile client after synchronization is completed. If the mobile device is offline or in an area with weak connectivity, the Tasks will not be immediately available to the user for processing.

Using the Start Now toggle, the user can choose to start the assignment(s) at the same time.

Prerequisites

• The Request Scope must include Standard Tasks.

System Effects

• Work Tasks are created for the relevant service and assigned to the current user in the back office.
• If the Start Now toggle is selected, the assignments will be set to a Started status.
• Once synchronization is complete, the tasks will appear in the My Work List on the mobile client.
