Edit Task Card
Explanation
As a technician with task control authority, you can edit a task card to fix errors or revoke sign-offs on
parts, measurements, tools, or steps, even if the task is not assigned to you.
Prerequisites
- The task must be IN WORK.
- The user must have Enable Task Control Authority permission enabled from the User
Permissions page.
- You must have technician or supervisor permission sets assigned to you.
- Line Maintenance Supervisors must have the MM_SUPERVISOR and MM_TECHNICIAN
permission sets assigned to them.
- Hangar Maintenance Supervisors must have the HM_SUPERVISOR and
HM_TECHNICIAN permission sets assigned to them.
System Effects
- If changes are made, the statuses of part installations, removals, measurements, steps, and tools are updated
as appropriate.
- The event log records the revisions.
