View Fault Attachment
Explanation
You can view attachments added to a task, fault, or non-routine to review the damage to the aircraft or help
troubleshoot a fault.
To view an attachment, on the Task/Fault Details page, click on the Attachment
(paperclip) icon. Either in the Attachment panel or Attachment page, click
View or click on the attachment.
Prerequisites
- To be able to view attachments in both web and mobile applications, an administrator must grant the
required permissions.
- To be able to view attachments from your mobile application, an administrator needs to enable the MM Doc
document class configurations.
- For another user to view attachments, the technician who uploaded the attachment must have established a
connection after adding the attachment. You must also be online to view attachments.
System Effects
- If you went online after adding the attachment, the attachment can be viewed by you and other users by
clicking the Attachment icon on the Task/Fault Details page.
- When a fault/non-routine is packaged, its attachments gets visible on the corresponding work task as
well.
