Create New KPI Calculation
Explanation
Use this activity to create a new KPI Calculation. The calculation process types can be selected depending on
the calculation method:
- IFS Workflow: The calculation is executed through workflow configuration.
- Base: The calculation is executed through a data service. A Unit of Measure (UoM) must be defined and will be
enforced by the system.
- Derived: The calculation is created from items defined in the Formula Items tab.
For KPIs with Base calculations, the UoM is fetched directly from the calculation definition in the
Sustainability Plan KPI page and cannot be modified. For other calculation types, the UoM field remains editable
and the value entered will be retained.
Prerequisites
To create KPI Calculations through
- IFS Workflow: Selecting a Process key is mandatory.
- Data Service: Selecting a data source is mandatory.
System Effects
- New KPI Calculation is created.
- For Base calculations, the UoM is automatically fetched and locked in the KPI page.
- For other calculation types, UoM remains editable, and values are not fetched from the calculation.
