The description of About Service Report Summarization is divided into the following sections:
Service Report Summarization is an AI-powered feature that creates a short, easy-to-read summary of service work completed by field technicians. It helps you quickly understand what was done, which parts were used, and the outcome without reading the full technical report. The summary appears at the top of the Service Report in a separate section.
You can enable this feature on the Report In and Debrief pages on the Mobile Application.
You can control whether a summary is generated using a toggle in the Report In section. If the toggle is off, the system creates the service report without the AI-generated summary. If it is on, a summary appears at the top of the report in a clearly marked section, offering a quick overview of the work performed. You can review and edit the summary in a dialog box before finalizing it, ensuring that the content is accurate and customer ready.
When enabled through Workflow Configuration, the system can generate a summary and optionally include pricing details based on the Debrief section. If this setting is not enabled, the report is generated as usual without the summary. If a summary has already been created, you can choose to reuse it or generate a new one. The summary remains editable in a dialog box, allowing you to validate and adjust the content before submission.
This is a LLM based model and can be used without training.
To generate the summary for the work task (already completed) the following inputs will be used.
