Use this Activity to add Alternate Kit Components to a Kit via a Kit Assembly Order. Alternate Kit components can be added from the inventory after creating the Kit Assembly Order. Alternate Kit Components can be added from the Required Content tab of the Kit Assembly Order.
When adding Alternate Kit Components to a Kit using the Kit Assembly Order, the quantity of the Kit Components will be deducted from the available inventory. Value of the added Alternate Kit Components will be posted to the Work in Progress account of the Kit Assembly Order. When an Alternate Part is connected to a Kit, the corresponding Standard Part will also be displayed in the Content Details tab.
