Use this Activity to create Kit Assembly Order. Kit Assembly Order can be created from Inventory Parts In Stock page or from Kit Assembly Order page. Kit Assembly Order is used to modify an existing Kit Serial or to create a new Kit Serial.
If the component inventory part uses a different unit of measure than the master part, the system will perform a conversion when handling inventory quantities required for the Kit Assembly Order.
Once a Kit Assembly Order is created for a Kit Part, it is not possible to update the Kit Definition if the Kit Assembly Order is in In Progress state.
