Use this Activity to modify a Kit Part using Kit Assembly Order. To modify a Kit Part Kit Assembly Order can be created from Inventory Parts In Stock page or from Kit Serials Components page. Kit Assembly Order is used to modify an existing Kit Serial or to create a new Kit Serial.
Kit Components can be disassembled from the Kit Part using the Remove command in Kit Serials Components page, which will automatically initiate a Kit Assembly Order in the background to complete the removal process.
Once a Kit Assembly Order is created for a Kit Part, it is not possible to update the Kit Definition if the Kit Assembly Order is in In Progress state.
