Change PM Program Revision

Explanation

Use this activity to change the PM program on equipment objects, tool/equipment, or linear assets to another PM program. PM program on the object can be changed to either a different revision of the same PM program or a new PM program.

Prerequisites

• There has to be a PM program already applied on an object.

System Effects

• If PM program on the object is changed to a different revision of the same PM program; either the PM Actions will be updated or created new revisions.
• If PM program on the object is changed to a new PM program; New PM Actions will be created.
• The date set in the Change PM Program/Revision dialog will only have effect on Task Templates where Calendar based Maintenance Plan exist to set the Start Date or Start Value respectively. Condition based or Event triggered Maintenance Plans will not be affected.
