Add Shop Order Tool

Explanation

This activity is used to add a tool to a specific shop order. i.e., a tool needed only for this shop order.

To add a tool group, open the Operations tab and expand the operation to which the tool group should be connected using the dropdown icon. Then create a new row, and select the tool group and required quantity.

Prerequisites

• A shop order must exist with at least one operation that has not been reported yet.
• A valid tool group for the site must have been entered on the Manufacturing Tool Group page.

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• The tool group is added to the shop order operation.
• A seperate record is created, and an activity sequence is generated on the Resource Activities page for each quantity.
• A record is created, and an activity load sequence is generated on the Resource Activity Load page relevant to the resource activity sequence.
