Add Work Guideline to Shop Order Operation
Explanation
This activity is used to connect a work guideline to an operation for a shop order.
To add a work guideline, add a new row and either, enter the required values manually, or use a work guideline
template.
There are three types of guidelines:
- Instruction: Used for instructions describing how the operation should be performed.
- Machine Instruction: Used to send a machine related instruction that is relevant for a routing
operation using Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Sub Task: Used to divide an operation into smaller activities. Can be set to require sign off by a
floor worker and/or an inspector. You can also select an employee and/or inspector employee qualification
profile. When signing off a subtask from the shop floor workbench, the system will verify that the employee has
the required qualifications.
Prerequisites
An open shop order operation must exist.
System Effects
