Open Shop Order

Explanation

This activity is used to open a closed shop order. This can be useful if you need to adjust materials or time on the shop order.

This activity requires that the shop order must have Closed status.

The status of the shop order is changed to Started.
If variance transactions exist for the order, reversal transactions for those will be created in inventory transaction history.
The lot/batch numbers used for the received parts will be reserved again for the shop order and the produced parts. If multiple produced part lines with the same part number are received using the same lot/batch number, the lot/batch number will only be reserved for one of the produced part lines.
