Use this activity to import supply, demand and planning data from the last live MRP run (Material Planning Scenario 1) into the simulation profile. This provides a baseline for MRP Simulation using the Simulation Profile option. Import Results from Material Planning Scenario One job is posted as a background job and can either be started now or scheduled for later execution.
You also have the option to clear any additional simulated demands added on the Additional Demands tab in the simulation profile during this process. This option is set to False by default.
If the simulation profile header has not been previously created, this job automatically creates the simulation profile header and populates data for either the selected site or all sites within the selected planning network for the chosen Material Planning Scenario.
As a result of this activity, demands, supplies, and planning data from the last live MRP run (Material Planning Scenario 1) are populated in the simulation profile under relevant tabs, ready for simulation adjustments.
