Copy Structure Alternate

Explanation

This activity is used to copy a specific structure alternate to a specific structure alternate on a pre-existing structure revision.

When copying between remanufacturing structures, enable Copy Direct Supply to include the information available on the Direct Supply tab in the copy process.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that the structure for which you want to create an alternate must have been created.

System Effects

• The system copies a specific structure alternate to a specific structure alternate on a pre-existing structure revision. No serial pointers are copied. These must be manually defined by the user. If the new alternate contains components, the status will be set to the default status, as defined on page Site/Manufacturing.
• If you enable the Copy Attached Documents option you will also copy documents attached to structure alternate and line item to the new alternate.
• If Copy Direct Supply is enabled, the information available on the Direct Supply tab on the source structure alternate is copied to the destination structure alternate.
