View Structure Multilevel
Explanation
Use this activity to examine the structure of a part, including its components and subcomponents. The structure
is displayed from the selected parent part structure alternate, down to the lowest level of all included
components.
Before viewing a multilevel structure for a structure alternate, the structure must be generated.
- If the structure has not been generated yet, click Generate Multilevel Structure.
- If a structure already exists, click Regenerate Multilevel Structure to update it.
In the dialog, you can apply the following filters to customize the breakdown:
- Structure Type: select specific structure types to include. Leave this field blank to
include all structure types.
- Valid From/To Date: enter a date range to limit the breakdown to revisions valid within that
interval. Leave blank to include all revisions.
- Alternate Status: select a specific alternate status to include only structure alternates
with that status. Leave blank to include all statuses.
- Only Default Alternate: enable this option to include only the default structure alternate
(*).
- Include Produced Parts: enable this option to include produced parts such as by-products,
co-products, and disassembly components.
Prerequisites
A product, configuration, recipe, and/or planning structure alternate with components that are not in
Obsolete status must exist.
System Effects
The system generates a multilevel structure from the selected structure alternate, down to its lowest level
based on the selected criteria. Structure alternates in status Obsolete are excluded from the
breakdown.
