A new AI-driven functionality has been introduced to support Work Task Template revisions. The development introduces two main commands:
To determine whether a Work Task Template requires revision due to variations reported through Work Tasks or PM Actions linked to the template, the Recommendations for New Revision command on the Work Task Template page enable the system to capture and store recommendations in a temporary database for later use. When this command is clicked, the Recommendations for New Revisions assistant page opens and begins with the selection of a date range for AI processing. The entered date range is used to filter Work Tasks and PM Actions created within that period. The assistant then generates and presents recommendations ordered by Work List No. and Cost Types. All recommendations are pre-selected by default, with the option to unselect specific items if required. A Regenerate Recommendations option is available to refresh the recommendations if the initial set is not suitable. After reviewing, the process moves to the save page where the selected recommendations can be edited or deleted before completing the action with Finish, which saves the selected data into the temporary database.
When considering a new revision, the system checks for saved recommendations, and if available, the View AI Recommendations command is enabled under the Work List tab in the Work Task Template page. When a Work List is selected, this command displays the saved recommendations related to resources, materials, and planning, which can then be applied directly to the revision to ensure consistency and reduce rework.
This functionality enables a smooth transfer of recommendations across revisions and supports consistency through a data-driven approach.
As a result of this activity AI recommendations are generated for a Work Task Template New Revision.
