Perform Selective MRP

Explanation

Use this activity to run MRP for selected set of part(s) or desired low levels.

BOMs must have been defined for the parts, and lead times for both the purchased and manufactured parts must have been established. MRP only uses the existing product structure with the alternate " * " indicated by an asterisk(*).
You can execute selective MRP for sales part in customer order line, part for which the MRP action messsage is raised in previous MRP run or MS Level 1 part directly. In order to do that customer order line, MRP action message or MS Level 1 part should be available.
To perform MRP for master scheduled parts you must first have created a master production schedule using IFS/Master Scheduling.
To perform MRP for project planned parts you should first run PMRP.

Note: MRP does not process parts with planning methods B - Order Point Planning, C - Replenishment Level, M - Manufacturing Cell Part or N - Next Level Demand. Selective MRP is not available in project MRP. Selective MRP plan part(s) in single site.

Selective MRP will be performed and supplies will be planned for the inventory part(s) and their components.
