Use this activity to transfer calculated Estimate at Completion (EAC) values from the Schedule of Work (SoW) Estimate or SoW Production to a selected Project Forecast using the Copy EAC to Project Forecast command in the Schedule of Work Value Summary or Work Recording Summary pages.
You can update cost and/or revenue values at project, sub project, or activity level, provided all SoW Estimate lines include corresponding level details. The SoW calculation date must fall within the cut-off date range of the Project Forecast.
EAC values can only be copied between the same SoW version and the same Project Forecast version. You cannot:
If a SoW version is updated, you can re-copy revised values to the same Project Forecast, but the previously selected level (project, sub project, or activity) cannot be changed.
Note that this command does not update cost progress. To do so, use Update Project Forecast Progress command in the Work Recording Summary page.
Project Forecast item lines will be created based on calculated Cost/Revenue Element values.
