Generate Role Assignments

Explanation

Use this activity to generate project role assignments to a specific project, sub project or activity and to assign persons to these project roles.

It facilitates generating role assignments for a single project role added or for all project roles in a project at the same time.

Project roles need to have been entered in the Roles tab of the Project Setup Parameters/Access and Roles page.

Role assignments are generated only for the project roles defined in the Project Setup Parameters/ Access and Roles/Roles tab.
The role assignments corresponding to any project roles that were deleted in the Roles tab are also deleted.
Project roles of type Other are created at the top level of the project if they are new, but are not created again if they already exist anywhere in the project.
