Release Activity

Explanation

An activity can be started once the activity is released. Releasing an activity changes its status from Planned to Released. You can register hours and cost only on a released activity.

To release an activity, select the activity to be released and select Release from the Status command button.

Prerequisites

• The activity must be in Planned status.
• The project must be in Approved status.

System Effects

• The activity is in Released status.
• Cost and hours can be registered on the activity.
• The Release Date is set to the current date.
