Copy First Article Inspection

Explanation

This activity is used to make a copy of a First Article Inspection with the same data rather than creating a new one from scratch.

This could be useful in the following scenarios,

To create a new full or partial FAI for a part by copying a full or partial FAI for the same part.
To create a new full/partial FAI for a different part.

To copy FAI, click Copy FAI, select the Destination FAI values as appropriate, and click OK.

There must be a created First Article Inspection.

As a result of this activity, a new First Article Inspection is created with the status Planned. The copied FAI will get a new FAI ID number.
