Select Shop Order for FAI
Explanation
To perform a First Article Inspection a FAI shop order needs to be identified.
This activity is used to connect a shop order to the FAI.
To connect a shop order, click Select Shop Order, select a shop order and click
OK.
Prerequisites
- At least one manufacturing shop order in status Planned must exist for the FAI part.
- The shop order must be defined for the same structure/routing revision/alternate as defined in the FAI header
section.
- The shop order lot size value must also match the FAI Quantity value.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, a shop order is connected to the FAI, and the shop order becomes an FAI shop
order.
