Set FAI to Performed
Explanation
This activity is used to set the FAI status to Performed, indicating that the first article
inspection has been carried out.
To set the FAI status to Performed, click Perform under the
Status button on the FAI header.
Prerequisites
- The FAI status must be in Released status.
- All analysis defined in the FAI shop order control plan must have been created, inspection results must have
been entered, and each analysis must have the status Confirmed.
- The connected FAI shop order must have been received and closed.
- A Drawing No must be set on the Part page, and a Drawing
Revision must be set on the Part Revision page before changing the FAI status
to Performed. (A technical drawing must also be created on the Technical
Drawing page.)
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, the FAI status is set to Performed.
