Define CRM Default Values
Explanation
This activity is used to view or modify default values and settings for CRM and SRM. The following settings can
be configured:
- Use Business Mail subject as description when create Business Activity from Business Mail: When a
business activity is created from a Business Mail, the mail subject is used as default value for description in
the Create Activity dialog if this setting is TRUE.
- Preset Account No with Lead ID when Convert Lead: When a lead is converted to an account, the Lead ID
will be used as default value for the Account No in the Convert Lead dialog if this setting is TRUE.
- Close Business Opportunity when Create Customer Order: If this setting is TRUE, the Close Business
Opportunity option in the Create Customer Order dialog will be selected by default. This option is applicable
when creating customer order directly from the business opportunity, not from a sales quotation.
- Default Business Activity Type when create normal Business Activity: When a business activity is
created in the Business Activity page, this activity type is used as default value.
- Default currency for Machine Learning: The default currency that is used when calculating the
opportunity score.
- Use machine learning (AI) for Business Opportunities: If this setting is TRUE, the score field is
shown in the Business Opportunity page. To use opportunity prediction, the machine
learning model must be trained and activated.
- Use background job for machine learning (AI) for Business Opportunities: If this setting is TRUE, the
calculation of the score value will run in the background and in order to get the result, the page should be
refreshed. If the setting is FALSE, the value will be visible once the calculation is done.
- Delete leads when converted to new account: If this setting is TRUE, leads will be deleted after it
has been converted into a new account. Leads created against an existing account will not be removed.
- Delete the duplicate leads when merged to the master record: If this setting is set to TRUE, the
duplicate record is deleted after being merged into another lead or account. If it is set to FALSE, the duplicate
lead remains, and its status is updated to Merged.
- Filter Marketing Campaign by User Allowed Company: If this setting is TRUE, you will only see
marketing campaigns which belong to a company where you are a user.
- Marketing Campaign Budget Currency: The currency used to calculate the Total Cost/Budget Curr
for marketing campaigns. If a currency is not selected or the currency does not have valid currency rates, the
Total Cost/Budget Curr field will be empty.
- Update Business Opportunity line cost when Sales Quotation cost is changed: If this setting is TRUE,
the cost value of the opportunity line will be updated if the cost value of a linked sales quotation line is
changed. If the setting is FALSE, the new sales quotation cost will not be synced to the opportunity line.
- Valid Activity Types: This setting is used to control what type of activities you are allowed to
create manually, for example on the Business Activity page. By default, this setting will show only
TASK and MEETING but if you want to add Call and/or Mail as possible values to select as activity types, you can
add them as valid activity types. Note that values should be listed in the following order in uppercase
(MEETING,TASK,CALL,MAIL).
- Create and open Outlook Appointment immediately without using sync: If this setting is TRUE,
clicking on Sync to Outlook on the Business Activity page will create the meeting appointment immediately
without using Outlook calendar sync service. If the setting is FALSE, meeting appointment will be created using
sync service and will be available on Outlook calendar after the sync cycle is completed.
- Use machine learning (AI) for Lead: If this setting is TRUE, the score field is shown in the
Lead page. To use lead prediction, the machine learning model must be trained and
activated.
- Use background job for lead prediction: When this setting is TRUE, the score is calculated
in the background, and the page must be refreshed after saving a lead to see the result. When set to FALSE, the
score is processed upon saving the lead and displayed once the calculation is complete.
- Filter Business Activity by User Allowed Company: If this setting is TRUE, you can only see
business activities that belong to a company where you are a registered user. If the setting is FALSE, you can
view and edit activities even if you are not a user of the owning company.
- Filter Business Opportunity by User Allowed Company and Site: If this setting is TRUE, you
can only see business opportunities and opportunity lines that belong to a company and site where you are a
registered user. If the setting is FALSE, you can view and edit opportunities and opportunity lines even if you
are not a user of the owning company and site.
- Use machine learning (AI) for Scan New Contact in Mobile: If this setting is TRUE, the
Scan New Contact page is shown in the CRM Companion mobile
app.
- Generate Recommendations from Business Mail Summary: If this setting is set to TRUE,
recommendations for the Guided Next Step widget will be generated from business mails when the Generate
Business Mail Recommendations background job runs.
- Generate Recommendations from Customer Interactions: If this setting is set to TRUE,
recommendations for the Guided Next Step widget will be generated from customer interactions when the
Generate Customer Interaction-Based Recommendations background job runs.
- Use Duplicate Check for Business Opportunity: If this setting is set to TRUE, possible
duplicates will be displayed when a new business opportunity is added.
