Use this activity to enter details about items covered under this contract line. It is possible to specify coverage based on Equipment, Model, Region, Location, Locality, Model and Region, Model and Location, or Model and Locality.
Equipment: Equipment covers the selected object. Objects within the child object structure for the
selected are considered Associated Objects.
Model: Covers the selected model. Objects of the selected model are considered Associated
Objects.
Region: Region covers all locations attached to the region. Objects within the location of the selected region are
considered Associated Objects.
Location: Location covers the selected location. Objects within the location of the selected
location are considered Associated Objects.
Locality: Locality covers all locations attached to the selected locality. Objects within the
location of the selected locality are considered Associated Objects.
Model and Region: Model and Reigon covers a specific model type restricted to a particular region,
Model and Location covers a specific model type restricted to a particular location, and Model and Locality covers
a specific model type restricted to a particular locality.
These coverage types allow contracts to be defined with object-specific, model-based, geographical, or combined
constraints, enabling more precise coverage definitions.
When picking Associated Objects, the Item list will be filtered based on the customer and the Party Type
connection specified on the Service Object(s). Only Service Objects with Party Type Customer and a Party Identity
matching the contract customer will be possible to select. Once a record has been saved, it is possible to decide
if the associated objects should be included in the coverage for the contract line, as well as if new objects added
under the same criteria should be included automatically.
A new Coverage Line will be added to the Contract Line.
