This activity is used to create Services that form part of the Service Catalog. The Service Catalog holds all services offered by a service provider and are used in Request Management. The Services are used when creating Requests and each Service will generate one Request Scope, with one or many tasks.
Each Service can hold one or many Standard Tasks, each of which can be applied to request scopes conditionally based on the Applicability setup. The Service also controls which Service Organizations offer the service, if a certain price rule applies (optional), a fall-back SLA (optional) and any urgencies (optional) covered.
Each Service is delivered through Work Tasks.
You can also add contracting costs during the creation of a new Service.
The invoicing process governs how invoice previews will be created. There are three options,
To add Contracting Costs, the user needs to have access to the IFS/Contractor Management solution.
As a result of this activity, Service will be added to the service catalog.
