Perform this activity to create a Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Category, which is a mandatory field in
creating a Miscellaneous Resource Allocation. Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Categories are used to group
Miscellaneous Resource Allocations together.
If a Miscellaneous Resource Category relates to Absences, the Absence badge will display Yes.
If an existing Non-absence category needs to be converted into an Absence category, it needs to be disconnected
from all the Miscellaneous Resource Allocations that are already associated with it.
A Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Category can have the following statuses:
Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Categories are transferred from IFS Cloud to PSO when the Scheduling
Configuration parameter 'Enable MRA Categories" is configured to true.
Enabling this feature allows the utilization of Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Categories when reporting MRA
absences in the Scheduling Workbench.
Misc. Resource Allocation categories can also be defined as Auto Approval. When this option is enabled, any Miscellaneous Resource Allocation created using that category is automatically approved upon creation. This streamlines the workflow and reduces manual intervention.
